  We finally made a trip to Smokey's, and we are glad we did.
  It's off the path. You have to drive through a small RV park to get to the lakeside location. Make the drive.
  Decor is appropriate for a lakeside BBQ and bar. Men, check out the restroom for a urinal worth a chuckle and appreciation. I posted a photo.
  Order at a window and pick up your own meal. Easy enough. We also had to order our own drinks at the bar, no table service on our visit.
  Food was worth the visit! We ordered 2 Dam Gouda Paninis. It comes with 2 sides. We had fries with  both orders and slaw and cottage cheese for seconds . Lesson: the fries are generous and the paninis are huge. One order can serve 2 unless you are big-time hungry.
  Friends ordered Barbecue Nachos. Served on a pizza pan, it was huge as well. Three of them had no complaints about sharing one order. The said it was worth the $10.
  Final analysis: a bit off the path but worth the trip. Recommended!

  It's a cool place with meat and beer.  The $10 nachos were nearly meatless and worth $3.  The beer was exactly what we ordered.  It's a neat environment but I hope they figure out the quality and quantity of food.  You have to order and pickup your order so no tip is required!  I can't imagine this place being open in 2 years if they don't figure out how to serve customers...

  I was there New Years Eve.  The live music was fantastic!  Looking forward to going again.

  Smokey's is a really neat place. The decor is really unique, yet appropriate and fun. The drinks are incredibly reasonably priced, as is the food. I must admit, they have one of the best pork tenderloins I've ever had! I'm excited for all the summer fun we will be having here!
